PublicCivic is a production website for a civic technology web development agency, built around a single accessible light theme and WCAG 2.2 AA compliance across every page.
Problem
Government and civic-sector clients need a web presence that reads as trustworthy and accessible first, stylish second, without the contrast and motion risks that come with a heavier design system.
Approach
We built a fully static Next.js 16 site (services, work, insights, and a Supabase-backed contact form) around one deliberately single light theme, no dark mode, with WCAG 2.2 AA compliance and reduced-motion support built into every component from the start rather than audited in afterward.
Outcome
PublicCivic is live at publiccivic.com with working services, work, insights, and contact pages.
